On March9, 2020 at 1:30 AM, Oxnard Police Officers were investigating a noise complaintin the 1800 block of Macarthur Place. They observed Miguel Garcia walking awayfrom his unoccupied vehicle in an attempt to flee. Garcia was found to be in possession ofnarcotic paraphernalia and a search of his vehicle revealed a loaded revolverand additional narcotics. Possession ofthe firearm was a felony because it was not registered to Garcia and was foundin addition to narcotics. Garcia was arrested for various firearms and narcoticrelated charges.
